Founded by Susie Walsh and Greg Weekes in 1982, Eastern Metal Supply started with just 5 employees and has since grown to employ over 350. Our single Florida location has also turned into seven nation-wide service centers, totaling over 750,000 square feet of distribution and manufacturing space, and over 18 million pounds of inventory.

For nearly 30 years, EMS has earned a reputation throughout the United States as a first-class supplier of aluminum products based upon the principles of service and quality. At EMS our goals are three-fold; to serve our customers profitably through the sale of high quality aluminum products; to provide a healthy work environment for our employees; and to make a positive contribution to our communities.

Positioned throughout the United States, EMS services the entire United States, Canada, Mexico, Central America and the Caribbean. Our Corporate Office in Lake Worth, FL stands at 143,000 square feet. We also have a 112,000 square foot Hurricane Shutter Products Distribution and Manufacturing Center in West Palm Beach and a 160,000 square foot warehouse in Lakeland. EMS Florida is comprised of over 400,000 square feet of warehouse and manufacturing space and serve the state of Florida and the Caribbean.

Our NC facility, located in Charlotte, was opened in 1989 and stands at 112,000 square feet. EMS North Carolina serves the Southeastern, Midatlantic, and Northeastern United States and Eastern Canada. In an effort to reach more customers, we opened a 35,000 square foot distribution center in Newark, DE and our newest addition: a 35,000 square foot distribution center in Birmingham, AL.

To increase our western footprint we opened EMS Texas in Houston in 1995. Due to a rapid increase in sales, we expanded our TX location to 100,000 square feet. EMS TX serves the Southwestern United States, Mexico and Central America.

In 1999 EMS Missouri opened in St. Louis. Currently 45,000 square feet, EMS MO serves the Northwestern United States west of Ohio and Western Canada. EMS MO is in the process of acquiring 6.8 acres of land in St Charles, MO and will immediately begin construction of a new facility. The first phase will be approx 68,000 sq ft and will be completed by late summer of 2012. An additional 45,000+ sq feet of warehouse space will be added as demand increases with a total build of 114,000 sq ft. The move will allow for increased productivity, expanded inventory, additional space for a future fabrication center, as well as accommodate future growth for increased distribution.

EMS FL and EMS TX now offer first stage fabrication solutions. We can work with your engineers and designers to help reduce your start-up time by using our Solid Works (CAD) software and fabrication machinery.

We are pleased to announce the acquisition of Flesher Windows, a manufacturer of aluminum and vinyl impact windows and doors. We re-branded it Eastern Architectural Systems and offer Earthwise Windows, the only vinyl impact window in the State of Florida with the Good Housekeeping Seal of Approval. We also offer additional quality impact windows and doors that offer energy efficiency, security and hurricane protection.

"Just-In-Time Delivery" is the backbone of our business today. Stocking inventory and shipping it as needed saves our customers valuable warehouse space. It’s also assurance that the products they need will be there when they need them. We also have our own fleet of over 75 trucks to ensure reliable service within our delievery areas.
